Yosemite was my introduction to the imagery of Ansel Adams. I consider Yosemite the centerpiece of my photographic explorations throughout the American West. A former Executive Director of the Ansel Adams Gallery once remarked that, after Ansel Adams himself, I am the finest black‑and‑white photographer to have set foot in Yosemite.
